STRESS REDUCTION WORKSHOP:
     De-stress from distress

aps: Empower

I created the De-Stress from Distress workshop because my clients in fashion, advertising, television, and finance have had trouble maintaining therapy due to time constraints.  To incorporate everything that I've learned about reducing stress over the past 15 years, I created a program that speaks personally to each participant.  If you are an employee, human resource professional, corporate director or company owner, and this sounds like it would benefit your workplace, please contact me.

PROGRAM CONTENT AND BENEFITS:

My evidence based stress reduction program is fun and interesting.  It delivers deep and lasting results.   Employers will find it cost effective, and it shows caring for their employees while granting them a safe space to decompress on a regular basis.

My particular expertise enables me to quickly assess and target high stress participants at risk in the group.  Confidential individual time is built into the program so that participants are comfortable sharing personal information.  This is important because the more personal the experience for the participant, the more likely they are to integrate the program, and therefore get a lasting benefit.

Whenever I consult on a one on one basis with executives my goal is to at least double their income.  I also designed this program to be an excellent investment.  Stress is an expensive problem.  It can result in creative blocks, productivity decline, attrition, and health issues.  The company will benefit by having happier, healthier, and more productive employees, who also appreciate the investment in their well being.

Program curriculum for the first class includes an icebreaker, clarifying the definition of stress, identifying a stress narrative, meditation, emotional processing, and a mini action plan to address the stressor.

It includes cutting edge techniques, including multi-sensory processing of stress (i.e. writing, drawing, talking), practicing mindfulness, right and left brain integration, individualized action plans and mini-consultations to personalize the program confidentially.  This program is also flexible with a curriculum individualized to the specific needs of the corporation with different price points.
